The wooden city, Oakland, was first created as an Xbox 360 project on Minecraft: Xbox 360 edition in 2012. On April 1, 2017, The Wooden City was ported over to Minecraft on PC in order to preserve it's existence. It was then modded lightly using minecraft forge with mods that add content without changing it's core rpg gameplay.
